Boston Bruins head coach Joe Sacco praised his team's "never say die" attitude after their dramatic 4-3 overtime comeback victory against the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night.
The Bruins entered the third period trailing 3-1 but rallied to score two goals in the final frame and one in OT to complete the comeback win.
When asked about the team's mentality entering the third period, Sacco emphasized the Bruins' determination and refusal to give up.
“I was really proud of our effort in the third period. I thought the guys showed a lot of determination and a never say die attitude," Sacco said.
