Jordan Spieth would be part of Happy Gilmore along with several other PGA Tour golfers. The 1996 American sports comedy officially renewed for the second installment, starring Adam Sandler in the lead role. The first part was a big hit, and fans are anxiously waiting for the second part. Intriguingly, people will see several professional players in the series.
On Wednesday, December 4, Jordan Spieth appeared on an episode of SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio, where he spoke about his role in Happy Gilmore 2. Moreover, he revealed several other names, including Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, and Rickie Fowler, could also be part of the series. Speaking of the movie, he said (0:15):
"When I was up there it was like Lee Trevino, Nicklaus, Freddie, we had Corey Pavin. In our scene next to me was Rickie and Collin and Xander and Keegan. So, I mean, yeah, it was really fun. It was super cool to see. There's a lot of other guys that were there before and after that have bigger parts. But it was just, it was wildly entertaining. I'm interested to see what comes out of it," Spieth said.
