Lewis Hamilton recently conveyed a special message to the fans who came to watch the 2024 F1 Qatar GP. He greeted the crowd support in the grandstands at Lusail with an Arabic word.
Despite not having the best races in the latter half of the 2024 F1 season, Hamilton addressed the fans in Qatar with all his heart before the race. The seven-time world champion only managed to qualify P6 for the Grand Prix after a poor sprint race where he also finished P6.
Speaking right before the Qatar GP, Hamilton gave an interview on the start-finish straight, where he was asked to give a message to fans. To avoid answering aptly, he removed his mic and asked the Arabic interviewer how to say the Arabic word 'Shukraan', which means thank you in English. He then turned to the fans and said the word.
