Lewis Hamilton wrote the foreword in Michael Schumacher's recently-released book on his championship-winning cars. The book was published in the anniversary month of the German's maiden F1 world championship win.
It has been 30 years since Michael Schumacher first won an F1 world championship. In 1994, the German was with Benetton and faced fierce competition from Damon Hill. He then successfully defended his championship in 1995.
Despite being a defending world champion, he shocked the F1 world by jumping from Benetton to Ferrari in 1996.
From 2000 to 2004, Schumacher and Ferrari dominated the sport, winning five drivers' and constructors' championships. The 2004 F1 world championship was the German's last in the sport, after which he was never able to win another.
