The New York Jets (4-10) are out of the playoffs but somehow this week has once again been about Aaron Rodgers. Between offering to take a paycut to play with the Jets next year to beefing with ESPN's Ryan Clark, the four-time NFL MVP has made sure he stays relevant.

This week, Rodgers was asked for his thoughts on what his future with the franchise looks like and how he would react if the Jets drafted a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft. Rodgers responded by saying he would mentor "the hell" out of the rookie but would also play well enough to ensure the young QB wouldn't see the field. One former New York Jet did not take Rodgers' words on face value.
