Inter Miami are reportedly looking to sign another former teammate of Lionel Messi's, Nahuel Guzman, as they continue to work towards the 2025 MLS season. The Herons are in need of goalkeeping reinforcement as they look to defend their Supporters' Shield title from the 2024 season.
Javier Mascherano has only one goalkeeper, Drake Callender, in his squad at present, following the completion of the Expansion Draft. Backup goalkeeper CJ Dos Santos has left the Herons to join the latest MLS side San Diego FC for the start of the 2025 season.
A report from El Crack Deportivo has indicated that Inter Miami are looking to sign goalkeeper Nahuel Guzman from Mexican outfit Tigres ahead of the new season. The 38-year-old Argentina international will join the side as cover for Callender, and the Herons feel a deal can be reached with his club.
