After his appearance at LIV Golf Dallas in September, LIV Golf professional Cameron Smith has returned to the professional golf circuit. Currently, Smith is in his home country, Australia, and is competing in the Queensland PGA Championship.
As of this writing, Round 1 of the tournament has concluded, and Smith scored 5-under par in the opening round. This performance places Smith behind Phoenix Campbell and Billy Dowling. It's important noting that Dowling is Smith's protege as the young golfer had received the Cameron Smith Scholarship.
After the conclusion of Round 1, Smith spoke about how it felt to be bettered by his protege in the opening round of the Queensland PGA Championship. The Australian golfer only showed love towards Dowling.
