Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah shared his Ballon d’Or aspirations for next year. The Egyptian forward is in exceptional form this season, contributing a goal and two assists in the Reds' emphatic 5-0 league win over West Ham United on Sunday, December 29.
The Reds started on the front-foot, with Luis Diaz opening the scoring in the 30th minute. Cody Gakpo (40’) added a second before Salah himself found the net a minute before half-time. Trent Alexander-Arnold (54’) and substitute Diogo Jota (84’) completed the rout.
Despite five different goalscorers on the night, iSalah once again grabbed the spotlight, as he reached 20 goals across competitions for the season. His Premier League numbers are particularly impressive: 17 goals and 13 assists in 18 matches.
