Premier League giants Liverpool have reportedly rejected Real Madrid's offer to sign right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold in January. The Liverpool academy graduate has been one of the mainstays for the Merseysiders since making his senior side debut in 2016.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is one of the most offensive right-backs in Europe with a penchant for producing inch-perfect crosses into the penalty box. This has helped him rack up 85 assists in addition to 20 goals in 333 appearances for the Reds across competitions.
Alexander-Arnold's contract will expire at the end of this season with no confirmation of a renewal. This has created speculation among fans about the Englishman's future.
As per British journalist Paul Joyce (h/t Madrid Xtra), the Merseysiders have rejected Real Madrid's offer to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold in January. He is, however, allowed to open discussions with Los Blancos in January 2025 for a potential transfer next summer.
