Manchester United repeated their abysmal feat from 12 months ago by succumbing to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Bournemouth in the Premier League at Old Trafford. The Red Devils were beyond disappointing in their final game before Christmas on Sunday, December 22.
The Cherries opened the scoring in the 29th minute after Dean Huijsen connected with a Ryan Christie free kick. The visitors doubled their lead just after the hour mark from the penalty spot through Justin Kluivert after Noussair Mazraoui brought him down in the box. The visitors wrapped up the three points with a third goal in the 63rd minute after Antoine Semenyo finished a beautiful passage of play from the visitors.
