Max Verstappen's girlfriend Kelly Piquet shared a post on her social media platform about the events in Gaza owing to their ongoing conflict with Israel. The tussle has been going on for over a year with both parties showing no respite and intention of stopping.
Piquet, who has been going out with the Red Bull driver and three-time world champion since late 2020, is quite active on her social media and often shares her take on geo-political issues.
Recently, she took to her Instagram Stories to share a couple of posts from Marie Claire regarding the situation on the ground and difficulties faced, especially by pregnant women given the lack of hospitals in the area.
According to the posts, over 180 children are born in the region every day, despite it losing around seven to nine percent of its population. It reflected on the methods used by the medical staff to treat childbirth, including procedures using kitchen scissors and makeshift tents.
