Max Verstappen's sister, Victoria Verstappen, shared pictures of her mother's 50th birthday celebration. She shared how they had an early celebration and showcased the cake on her official Instagram stories. The pictures depicted how one room in their house was decorated with a five and zero sign that had orange bulbs. Besides the "50" sign, there was a cluster of balloons.
In the second picture, Victoria showcased the cake made for her and Max's mother, Sophie Kumpen, on her birthday. The entire cake itself was made with the numbers five and zero.
Though Sophie's date of birth is 30 October 1975, the Verstappen family celebrated a few days early.

Victoria and Max are children of Sophie Kumpen and Jos Verstappen. Sophie has been married to Jos since 1996 and has focused on raising two of her kids. Before that, however, she was also a racing driver. She started racing in go-karts at the age of 11 and had a decent karting career where she drove against several F1 drivers like Jenson Button, Jarno Trulli, Giancarlo Fisichella, and more.
