“Maybe I wasn’t good enough”: Michael Schumacher’s brother opens up on the lack of success in his F1 career

Former seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher's brother Ralf Schumacher claimed that the latter wanted to be a world champion like the Ferrari legend but "wasn't good enough". The 55-year-old made his debut with Jordan in 1991 before jumping to Benetton in 1992 where he won his first two titles in 1994 and 1995.

He left the team after winning his second title for the Scuderia in 1996 and took them to glory from 1999 to 2004 while adding five world championships of his own from 2000 to 2004. However, Michael Schumacher's younger brother Ralf wasn't as successful in F1 despite racing for a decade with teams like Jordan and Williams F1.

Speaking with Formel1.de, Ralf Schumacher, who won six races during his time, spoke about his F1 career in comparison to his brother and reflected:
