NHL analyst and former player Paul Bissonnette discussed his involvement in a restaurant altercation in Phoenix, Arizona. Speaking on "The Pat McAfee Show" on Wednesday, Bissonnette described stepping in to defend the staff at Houston’s restaurant from harassment by a group of men. The situation escalated outside the establishment, culminating in a physical confrontation.
Bissonnette recounted how the group, which he linked to an alleged scam gang, attacked him near a CVS dumpster after following him outside. Despite defending himself briefly, he was overpowered and sought safety inside the CVS.
"I walked over & told the guy if he was gonna keep harassing & assaulting the staff we were gonna have problems ... Maybe that didn't de-escalate the situation," Bissonnette said.
