Mercedes F1 driver Lewis Hamilton was overjoyed after Arsenal FC's 3-1 win over Southampton on 5 October saw them stay third in the standings for the 2024-25 Premier League season. The seven-time world champion is a big supporter of the North London Club, despite attempts to buy their city rival, Chelsea FC, a couple of years ago.
The Gunners have been challenging for the championship for the past two seasons but come up short against the mighty Manchester City. They have once again started a season brightly. Besides the City, they are the only team that remains undefeated after seven games.
Their winning streak looked a bit in jeopardy after they went a goal behind on Saturday against Southampton after 54 minutes despite dominating the game. However, owing to their 'Starboy' Bukayo Saka's performance, scoring the third goal and setting up the first two, they claimed the three points.
