Micah Parsons makes feelings clear on Mike McCarthy as Cowboys HC in 2025 amid hot seat rumors (Image Credit: IMAGN)
Micah Parsons has come out in support of Mike McCarthy, with the defender saying that he wants the embattled Cowboys head coach to return in 2025. Dallas is 5-7 this year and still has a chance to finish with a winning record, even though it looks highly improbable that they will be featuring in the playoffs. For a team that won the division last year, this is a spectacular fall from grace.
It has increased speculation that Mike McCarthy might not return to the Cowboys in 2025. He is already in the last year of his contract. However, Micah Parsons wants everyone in Dallas to have a chance of redemption next year, including the players and coaches, because he feels luck has not been on their side. As reported by Todd Archer of ESPN, the defender said,
"I would like a fair shot with everyone back -- players, coaches -- because the injuries kind of struck off what this season could really be. The injuries have been terrible. And, you know, it really sucks. Seeing Zack [Martin], D-Law [DeMarcus Lawrence] not having the year I know he planned to have. He had such a great start. It really sucks."
