Patrick Mahomes finds himself at the center of a heated NFL rule debate after Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons challenged the league's quarterback protection rules.
Parsons has spotlighted a contentious issue that's been simmering among defensive players for seasons.
During a Thursday press conference, Parsons voiced his concerns directly to reporters about the current NFL rules surrounding quarterback movements near the sidelines.
His comments came as the Chiefs continued their impressive 11-1 season run, positioning themselves as the first team to clinch a playoff spot in 2024.
"I just think the NFL should do a better job clearing up the gray area. If a quarterback acts like he's going out of bounds, he should go out of bounds, that's where you should mark him at. If he's acting like he's going to slide, that's where you should mark him at. Because at that point, it's the contact issue," said Parsons.
