Rakeem Christmas, the son in law of six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan, is about to enter the next chapter of his basketball career. Christmas announced via social media that he is coming to South East Asia to play in the Indonesian Basketball League or the IBL.
Christmas will be joining the team known as Amartha Hangtuah for the 2025 season which will begin on Jan. 11. The team announced Christmas's addition to its roster on its media day on Thursday. Meanwhile, Jordan's son-in-law announced it to his followers on Instagram.
The post featured him wearing his new jersey and it also included a two-word caption along with a number of hashtags.
"Gas szn," Christmas said.
