Micheal Owen and Manchester City supporters
Former Liverpool and Manchester United forward Michael Owen took a dig at Manchester City fans after they booed the side during their 1-1 draw against Everton. Pep Guardiola's Manchester City hosted Sean Dyche's Everton at the Etihad Stadium in a Premier League clash on Thursday, December 26.
Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva broke the deadlock in the 14th minute with the help of an assist from Jeremy Doku. Everton's Iliman Ndiaye later scored the equalizer (36') to make the scoreline 1-1. In the second half (51'), Vitalii Mykolenko conceded a penalty, which was eventually missed by Erling Haaland.
Pep Guardiola's side dominated the match on possession (66%) and they had five shots on target compared to three by the Toffees. However, Manchester City also missed four big chances compared to only one by Sean Dyche's Everton.
