Millwall and Oxford United lock horns in round 25 of the EFL Championship on Thursday
Millwall and Oxford United will be looking to begin the new year on a high when they lock horns at the Den in round 25 of the EFL Championship on New Year's Day. Gary Rowett’s men are yet to taste victory away from home this season and will be looking to end this dry spell.
Millwall continue to struggle for results in the mid-table places as they played out a goalless draw with Coventry City at the Coventry Building Society Arena on Sunday.
The Lions have failed to win eight of their last nine matches — losing four and claiming four draws — with a 1-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers on December 21 being the exception.
With 29 points from 13 matches, Millwall are currently 13th in the EFL Championship standings, level on points with 14th-placed Preston North End.
