MLB analyst picks ideal 3B for Yankees (Getty)
The New York Yankees has been one of the most active teams in the offseason, making changes to the roster after their disappointing loss in the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers in October.
Question marks were raised over the Yankees' infield after they capitulated in Game 5 of the Fall Classic. With first baseman Anthony Rizzo walking into free agency at the end of the 2024 season and second baseman Gleyber Torres' reunion also in doubt, the Yankees have a few infield gaps to fill.
Jazz Chisholm Jr. excelled at third base after his switch from the Miami Marlins where he mostly played second base. However, MLB analyst Rich Ciancimino feels Chisholm should be at second base with eight-time All-Star third baseman Nolan Arenado an ideal option for the Yankees with Anthony Volpe at shortstop.
