MLB insider claims Mets, Blue Jays, Giants, Mariners "most obvious" fit for 4x All-Star after $90,000,000 rejection - Source: Imagn
The MLB offseason has picked up pace since the Winter Meetings, with several free agents finding new teams over the last few weeks, but All-Star slugger Pete Alonso's future remains uncertain.
The four-time All-Star has been in the news ever since the option for free agency at the end of the 2024 season. He also declined a qualifying offer from the Mets in search of better value in free agency.
Earlier this week, MLB insider Carlos Baerga reported that the Mets had offered the first baseman a $90 million deal over three years, but Alonso's agent, Scott Boras, is reportedly seeking a contract of around $200 million.
