Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman and his family are in a happy place after the superstar slugger's heroics in the Fall Classic against the New York Yankees helped the NL West team to an eighth World Series title.
Freddie and his wife, Chelsea, went through a medical emergency after the youngest of their three sons, Max, was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome in August. The rare neurological disorder impacted their three-year-old son's ability to walk and move freely.
However, Max has improved over the last few months, and Chelsea has been constantly updating on her youngest son's health. In a recent Instagram post, Chelsea shared a clip of Max working on his mobility with dumbbells, captioning it:
