Pro Football Hall of Famer Rod Woodson has crowned Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson as this year’s MVP over Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen. Speaking to TMZ Sports this week, Woodson didn’t mince words.
"It's no question in my head," Woodson said, "Lamar Jackson is the MVP."
Woodson's pick comes at a time when the MVP race tightens in the final stretch of the season.
Statistically speaking, Jackson, who signed a $260 million extension ahead of last season, holds a significant edge in key categories. It includes 39 passing TDs compared to Josh Allen’s 26. It is a gap that Woodson has called “daunting.”
