Calls for Chicago Bears to bench rookie quarterback Caleb Williams following his struggles against the Seattle Seahawks have picked pace. The Bears lost their 10th game in a row on Thursday.
Williams threw an interception in the game and was sacked seven times. NFL reporter Evan Cohen was critical of Williams' disappointing performance. The journalist shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), suggesting the NFL star work with a coach during the offseason. He wrote:
"Bears ownership should mandate Caleb Williams does not play another snap this season. You can not risk his off season being dominated by rehab if he suffers an injury @ GB. His offseason needs to be married to his new coach so he can become the QB they know he can be."
