Bill Belichick linked with replacing 48-win NFL head coach | Image Source: Imagn
Bill Belichick signed on as the head coach of the University of North Carolina program barely a month ago but the NFL has clearly not forgotten about a man who still has an opportunity to be the winningest head coach in league history.
Belichick was set to be the biggest name on the 2025 coaching carousel after he failed to land a job this year. He was strongly linked with the potential job opening with the Jacksonville Jaguars but ultimately ended up signing a five-year, $50 million contract with UNC. That said, he does have a stipulation giving him an out in case an NFL job comes calling. Colin Cowherd believes Belichick could use that stipulation and work his way into a job with an NFC heavyweight.
