Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves could be facing a hefty fine from the NBA after he criticized the referees on Saturday night. Edwards was not pleased with the officiating in the Timberwolves' 113-103 loss to the Golden State Warriors at the Target Center.
Speaking to reporters after the game inside the locker room, Edwards ranted about the Timberwolves not getting the same treatment as other good teams. He dropped an expletive describing his frustrations with the referees not just for Saturday's game, but all season long.
"They're f**king terrible," Edwards said. "All of them, besides the woman, but the other two dudes, terrible. Excuses as reasons they don't call a foul, the reason they don't call a foul, the sh*t was terrible. They don't wanna talk back to my coach, talk back to me. I said one thing to the ref and he gave me a tech."
