Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins has emerged as the Texans and quarterback CJ Stroud's number-one option at wide receiver in the last two seasons.
Drafted in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Collins had 30+ receptions and over 400 receiving yards in each of his first two seasons. Last year, during Stroud's rookie year, he had a breakout season, recording 80 receptions for 1,297 yards, and eight touchdowns. This resulted in Collins getting a three-year contract worth $75 million, with $52 million guaranteed.
In nine games this season, Collins has been productive with 53 receptions for 849 yards and six touchdowns.
