Oman and Bahrain meet in the finals of the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup on Saturday, with the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait City set to host the showpiece encounter.
Ranked 80th in the world, Oman are looking for their third trophy in the competition after winning it for the first time back in 2009 and then again in 2018.
It hasn't been an easy journey for the Reds so far though, with Rashid Jaber's side drawing two of their three group matches, ableit still clinching top spot regardless.
Against Saudi Arabia in the semi-final, Oman proved their mettle by pulling off a 2-1 victory as Arshad Al-Alawi and Ali Al-Busaidi struck apiece late on. Mohamed Kanno pulled one back for the Greens late on but it couldn't inspire their comeback.
