Patriots President Jonathan Kraft fumes in frustration over 5-yard loss on run against Cardinals: "Play calling is terrible." (Credits: IMAGN)
Jerod Mayo's future as the New England Patriots head coach is reportedly under scrutiny. The team was 3-10 coming into their Week 14 clash against the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium and there were rumors that the franchise's top brass were giving him the rest of the season to save his job.
If the reports were accurate, Mayo and the other coaching staff did little to endear themselves in the first half of their game against the Cardinals. They mustered only 89 yards of offense and went into the locker room for the halftime break trailing 13-3.
Patriots CEO Robert Kraft and Team President Jonathan Kraft weren't too impressed with what they saw on the field. The father-son duo looked exasperated about their team's performance in the director's box and the latter even made a strong remark about the play-calling.
