On Sunday, November 24, Maverick McNealy claimed his maiden PGA Tour win after shooting a 68 in the final round of the RSM Classic 2024. He defeated Daniel Berger, Nico Echavarria, and amateur Luke Clanton by a single-stroke margin to claim the $1,368,000 paycheck.
Besides earning the $1,368,000 for the win, McNealy also secured 500 FedEx Cup Fall points and moved up one spot to 51st in the standings. While he didn’t gain much in terms of the FedEx Cup standings, several players made significant moves to save their PGA Tour cards or earn exemptions to several Signature events.
Among the week’s biggest movers, Daniel Berger made a significant 27-spot jump to 100th, saving his card with the help of his runner-up finish. Joel Dahmen was another notable name who moved inside the top 125 after his final-round 64.
