The Nashville Predators are not off to a great start this season, and general manager Barry Trotz is reportedly open to making some trades to fix that. They're currently last in the Central Division at 5-9-2 and with just 12 points on the season. They're behind the division-leading Winnipeg Jets by 18 points right now.
The GM likes what he's seen lately but admitted that the team struggled out of the gate this season. He revealed the one spot he is looking at to improve ahead of the trade deadline. Trotz said, via The Athletic:
“I think I’m always looking for a center. I think half the league is looking for a center. I don’t think that’s anything that’s earth-shattering. But we’re always looking to try and improve there. I think we’ve got good people. We had injuries in the middle."
