Golf Canada and the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) announced Friday, December 13, that they have decided to incorporate the image of Nick Taylor's iconic moment when he won the RBC Canadian Open into the event's official logo. In 2023, Taylor became the first Canadian to win the national championship in 69 years.
Effective immediately, the silhouette of Nick Taylor tossing his putter into the air will be incorporated into the official logo, replacing the letter "i" in the word "Canadian". Taylor threw his putter in the air after making a 70 plus-foot putt to win the event in a playoff.
