Real Madrid sent their fans into the Christmas festivities in high spirits after a 4-2 victory at the Santiago Bernabeu against Sevilla. Los Blancos have now climbed to second in the league standings, one point behind leaders Atletico Madrid.
Los Blancos scored in the 10th minute through Kylian Mbappe's strike from outside the box. They doubled their lead 10 minutes later through Federico Valverde, who converted a thunderous effort. Brazilian forward Rodrygo made it 3-0 in the 34th minute before Isaac Romero (35') got one goal back for Sevilla.
Kylian Mbappe set up Brahim Diaz to restore Real Madrid's three-goal advantage in the 53rd minute. However, Dodi Lukebakio scored in the 86th minute to make it 4-2.
