Reed Sheppard and the Houston Rockets took on the LA Clippers on Sunday night. In Sheppard's previous outing against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, he added seven points, three rebounds and two blocks in 13 minutes of play. The Rockets couldn't come up with a win as the Warriors handed them their second-straight loss.
Up against the Clippers, Reed Sheppard didn't play in the first quarter. Jalen Green took charge for the Rockets in the opening period after scoring 11 points. Sheppard then played in the second quarter but couldn't get a shot to go. He played for a little over four minutes and only took one shot attempt.
The Rockets and the Clippers ended the first half with a 64-50 finish, in favor of Houston. Green contributed seven more points with the help of Dillon Brooks who else notched double figures by the end of the half 14 first-half points.
