Williams faced significant financial losses due to three major crashes during the 2024 Sao Paulo Grand Prix. The combined estimated cost of the crashes caused by Alex Albon and Franco Colapinto is approximately $2.46 million (€2.3 million).

Brazil hosted the 2024 Sao Paulo GP at Interlagos, the 21st race of the season. The entire race weekend was rain-drenched as multiple red flags hindered the smooth conduct, both in qualifying and the race.

Max Verstappen delivered a masterclass, recovering from a starting position of 17th to claim victory. This marked his first win since the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix. On the other hand, Williams' season-long rival Alpine registered two podium finishes through Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly.
