Recent reports have claimed that the Williams F1 team has received a massive financial boost after 100,000,000 of their shares were sold for AUD 1.95 per share on 11 October, totaling nearly USD 130,000,000. This investment was made a week before Williams' interim driver, Franco Colapinto, had a brilliant race in the 2024 F1 US GP and secured P10.

As per the report from Speedcafe, team owners Dorilton Capital have made this huge investment. According to Forbes, Williams was valued at $725,000,000 last year. This latest injection of money would massively help them in the coming years, especially during the 2026 regulation changes.

Williams' spokesperson spoke to Speedcafe about the team's long-term commitment and aim in F1 and how team owners were helping them. They also spoke about how drivers like Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz decided to be on board after seeing the team's ambitions.
