Richard Sherman is best known for being one of the most outspoken players in NFL history - a characteristic that he has since carried over into his broadcasting career. And he proved it with a monstrous rant on Sunday's episode of his eponymous podcast.
The Washington Commanders had defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 36-33 earlier that day, but the game was marred by multiple instances of purportedly dubious officiating, most notably defensive pass interference calls on cornerback Marshon Lattimore. And the one-time Super Bowl champion was unhappy with such preponderance, saying:
"The whole world is biased for offensive players... The other way, those PI calls on Lattimore were absolute horsesh*t. I'm so tired of this game getting so soft and ridiculous, and people have an audacity to complain. How are those PIs if the receiver is physical, then you have to let the DB at least defend himself?"
