As the MLB offseason goes on, rumors surrounding Seiya Suzuki have gained attention, particularly with the LA Dodgers expressing interest in the Chicago Cubs outfielder.
However, the Cubs appear reluctant to trade Suzuki, even after their recent acquisition of Kyle Tucker from the Houston Astros. This development raises questions about Suzuki's future with the Cubs and the potential impact on the Dodgers as they are reportedly looking to replace Teoscar Hernández.
Suzuki, who signed a five-year $85 million contract with the Cubs before the 2022 season, has proven to be a valuable asset. Over three seasons in MLB, he has a .824 OPS.
