Carolina Panthers star Seth Jarvis had a strong return to action against the Dallas Stars on Monday. The 22-year-old scored his fifth goal of the season after returning from injury that saw him miss the last seven games for the Canes.
Seth Jarvis suffered what was labeled as an upper body injury. No details were provided but the centre had to remain home nursing his injury while the Canes were on a road trip that saw them drop two games against the New Jersey Devils and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Upon return, Jarvis opened the scoring for his team when he tied it 1-1 with a goal during power play at 6:36 in the first period. It came off his backhand with Sebastian Aho turning assist provider. Aho had two more assists and a goal in the game. The Canes scored five times in the last period with a go-ahead sixth goal by Jarvis' linemate Martin Necas to seal their team's 15th win of the season.
