NBA insider Shams Charania clapped back at Jimmy Butler's agent after the latter called him out for his report on a potential trade for the former Chicago Bulls star. The insider joined Thursday's edition of "First Take" with Stephen A. Smith to double down on his report and clarify that he confirmed everything he reported.
"I 1000% stand by my reporting. It's fully vetted. And as a professional, that's what I do, that's what I get paid to do... report truthfully and accurately. That's what this is. Period."
After recalling that he said the Miami Heat are listening to offers for the player, with the Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors being the first three teams linked with the swingman. After that, the Phoenix Suns were added to the list, prompting Butler's agent's response.
