Shohei Ohtani has done something baseball fans have never seen before this past season. He became the first player in the history of the game to have hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases during a single season.
While that is impressive, how Ohtani eclipsed the mark was even more impressive. He did it during a September 19 game against the Miami Marlins, going perfect at the plate.
Ohtani went 6-for-6, hitting three home runs, stealing two bases and driving in 10 runs. According to the league's social media, the stellar night is being ranked as the top play of the 2024 season.
