Gary Neville has urged Ruben Amorim to drop one of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen for Manchester United's clash with Liverpool this weekend. He believes that the midfielders do not have the legs to play in the league and cannot be starting together.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville expressed his concern with Amorim starting Casemiro and Eriksen against the league leaders Liverpool on Sunday. He added that the back three – Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, and Matthijs de Ligt – already don't have pace and hence, it would make things worse. He said:
"Casemiro and [Christian] Eriksen haven't got the legs to get around. Casemiro and Eriksen shouldn't be playing together in the Premier League. It is just so easy. When you saw the Manchester United starting XI you had to think it would be very difficult for this team to play well.
