Tanner Scott might be among the most underrated players on the open market. The veteran is coming off the best season of his MLB career, which saw him post a new career-high in saves (22) and earn his first All-Star selection.
Although Scott remains without a new contract, it does not take away from the fact that he is a highly-coveted asset for a number of contenders. After opening the 2024 campaign with the Miami Marlins, the club dealt Scott to the San Diego Padres, remaining an effective arm for the team in the postseason.
