The Showdown 2024 is set to take place on Tuesday, December 17, at Shadow Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas. The event will feature Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka of LIV Golf taking on Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy of the PGA Tour in an 18-hole match.
All four contenders in the first-ever Showdown are multiple-title winners in their respective professional careers. Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Scottie Scheffler, and Rory McIlroy have all won at least two Major championships.
Brooks Koepka is the winningest player among them in terms of Majors. The Smash GC captain has won five Majors in his career, the third-highest among currently active players. His first win came at the 2017 U.S. Open, and his most recent was at the PGA Championship last year.
