Ex- Mavericks' forward highlights Warriors' shortcoming in pursuit of NBA title - Source: Imagn
The Golden State Warriors this season have not looked as dominant as they once were in the league. With Steph Curry not getting any younger, the team's younger players have not consistently been able to match the four-time NBA champion.
Former Mavericks forward, Chandler Parsons, on an episode of "Run It Back" posted on X on Tuesday, gave his take on what the Warriors need to become serious contenders. While he praised the team's young talents, he believes that they don't have a "number two option" to complement Steph Curry.
"To me, they (Warriors) are in the same boat at the Los Angeles Lakers. They have to be perfect, they have to be elite, they have to be perfect ... they got off to a great start and they do have the talent to win a lot of games ... but right now they don't have a number two option ... they don't have that piece to kinda Batman to Stephen Curry's Robin."
