Paul Bissonnette, a former NHL player and current analyst, shared details about a recent assault in Arizona. On Episode 533 of Spittin’ Chiclets on Tuesday, he told co-host Ryan Whitney about the incident outside Houston’s restaurant, in Phoenix, Arizona, where he regularly eats.
The trouble started when a group of men (golfers) caused a scene and harassed the staff. One man began intimidating the manager. By this time everyone in the restaurant was watching it but no one was doing anything. So, Bissonnette stepped in to help the staff members.
The situation quickly escalated, and multiple men began attacking him. The fight moved outside, where Bissonnette was surrounded near a CVS dumpster.
[13:24] "I make my way around the dumpster at the CVS, and four of them got me," Bissonnette said. "They got me on the ground and, like, listen, if you know, if you're ever in situations like that, if you get caught on the ground, they're going to start kicking in the head. And if you go unconscious, like, you don't know what the... consequences are."
