Tiger Woods has announced that he won't compete at the 2024 Hero World Challenge, set to take place in two weeks. However, he has assured the fans that he will be present in the Bahamas and will spend time with the event sponsors, Hero MotoCorp.
The Hero World Challenge is an unofficial event on the PGA Tour and one of two events hosted by Tiger Woods. This year's edition will take place from December 5 to 8 at Albany Golf Course, Bahamas, with 20 top players competing over 72 holes.
On Monday, November 25, Woods took to X to announce his unavailability for the 2024 Hero World Challenge. In his latest post, he also revealed three new exemptions for the event.
"I am disappointed that I will not be able to compete this year at the Hero World Challenge, but always look forward to being tournament host and spending the week with @HeroMotoCorp. Excited to welcome our exemptions JustinThomas, Justin Day and Nick Dunlap," he wrote.
