Tiger Woods' much-anticipated TGL is less than 65 days away from its inaugural edition. However, his team is nowhere among the favorites for the first season, according to the oddsmakers.
The TGL is a tech-infused league co-owned by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and TMRW Sports CEO Mike McCarley. The first-ever season was supposed to start in 2024 but will now begin January 7 next year at the newly constructed SoFi Center on the Palm Beach State College campus in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
According to Golf Digest, Boston Common Golf is the favorite to win the first-ever TGL, with odds of +350. Along with Rory McIlroy, this team is comprised of Hideki Matsuyama, Keegan Bradley, and Adam Scott. All four have been in great form and have delivered some incredible performances this season.
