AS Monaco visit the Stadium de Toulouse on Sunday to face off with Union Saint-Jean in the last 64 of the 2024-25 French Cup, looking to end their three-game winless run.
It's been a tough last few days for the side, who've appeared to lose steam lately. They've won just once from their last six in all competitions, a routine 2-0 win over Toulouse in Ligue 1.
More recently, Arsenal inflicted a damaging 3-0 defeat upon them in the Champions League while PSG beat them 4-2 in Ligue 1. Interspersed between these results was a disappointing 0-0 draw with Reims.
Now, the Monegasques turn towards the cup for some respite, but shouldn't be underestimating their hosts. Though Saint-Jean ply their trade in the sixth tier of French football, they recently overcame third-tier Versailles to get here.
